The property borders on the Maiella national park where you will find stunning scenery and wonderful wildlife including wolves, bears and owls amongst others.

The house is ideally located for both the beach and the mountains. You could be skiing in the morning and swimming in the Adriatic in the afternoon (at least in Spring).
There are range of things to do from, depending on the season, skiing, swimming, in both lakes and the sea, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, watersports, hiking, bird watching, mushroom picking, fishing and if you have any energy left, eating and sunbathing! Or just go to the village and take a coffee or apertivo with the locals and watch the world go by.
The food is wonderful and inexpensive, with fantastic local wines and olive oils. You can take part in grape and olive picking if you really want to experience the area.
